🎧 A Decade with the Hanuman Chalisa — New Album Release

Hi Reader,

I’m excited to share the release of the Hanuman Chalisa Collection.

The most common reflection I’ve received from people is that listening to this album brings them a sense of peace. My hope is that it brings you peace too!

This collection brings together four musical settings of the Hanuman Chalisa created over the past ten years, and includes commentary tracks sharing the backstory for each piece.

Looking back, I never set out to create an album. Each recording emerged during a different season of life and from a different stage of my relationship with the Chalisa.

Each piece came to embody a different quality that I associate with Hanuman—Peace, Strength, Devotion, and Joy.

Together they form a kind of musical journal, tracing how this practice has evolved and deepened in my life over time.

Alongside the album, I’m also happy to share the music video for the newest recording in the collection, Hanuman Chalisa for Joy.

What began as a melody received during meditation gradually evolved into a deeply collaborative project involving studio sessions, flute and cello recordings, strings, choir, and eventually a music video.
