Hi Reader,
It's been a while! I hope you're doing well :)
I'm really excited to share the final performance of the contest winner's piece! We recorded Andrés Hernández's winning composition "Village of Lumina" with the 34-piece ensemble of the Northern Film Orchestra on May 27th, 2023.
Check out the video on YouTube where I share the final performance of his piece followed by an interview where we talk about his experience recording with an orchestra for the first time. Finally, I’ll share a "fly on the wall" perspective of the 15 minute recording session. In this segment you’ll see how the conductor works with the musicians to record a piece of music they've never seen before from start to finish.
You can listen to the mastered recording of Village of Lumina on Spotify.
I also recorded a few pieces on the same day and have uploaded both performance videos as well as full behind-the-scenes videos of the recording session. Here are the performance videos. On the end screen of these you'll find links to the behind-the-scenes videos: Eskimo Bob Overture, Snow-Covered Earth, Spring Bloom.
All the best,
Eric

Solfeggio Frequency Singing & Piano [New Music] View on the web → Hi Reader, A couple days ago I was listening to music at the 528 Hz solfeggio frequency. It put me in an relaxed state and I naturally found myself singing along. I hit record and captured whatever came out in the flow of the moment. I'm a little shy to share this as it's raw and not "perfect" 🙈 I'm also excited to share it because it was a special moment of presence that brought me peace. 🎧 528 Hz Inviting Miracles musings on...
